For the 2008-2009 season, the Federal CDC is recommending flu shots for children aged 6 months through 18, persons over 50, residents of nursing homes and other chronic care facilities, children and adults with certain chronic health conditions, pregnant women, health care personnel and many caregivers. The Maine CDC recommends calling your pediatrician to find a flu shot for children. There are public flu shot clinics for adults at a variety of locations. You can use the following websites to find a flu shots for adults in the local area:

Flu shot clinics are held at several organizations, CHANS offers a walk-in clinic at Mid Coast Senior Health Center and Bath Area Senior Citizen's Center. A number of stores offer flu shot clinics: CVS,Rite-Aid, Shaw's, Hannaford and Target. Times and dates can be found through the websites above.
