Tour NASB site on Wednesdays Through August

Residents may tour the Brunswick Naval Air Station site (slated to close in 2011) on any Wednesday from now until August 30th. The tour bus leaves the old high school on McKeen Street at 6:00 p.m. and returns no later than 8:00 p.m.

Please send BLRA a note indicating which date works best for you as well as your contact information. Remember, space is limited.
Note:
- Please leave your bags and backpacks in your cars. Photographs are not allowed (including cell phone pictures).
- You must have a photo ID to verify your identification against the sign up list for the tour.
- Entry to the Base constitutes consent to search. Go here to sign up!

NASB is approximately 3,200 acres and has undergone $150 million in new construction in the last 10 years. It takes up 40% of Brunswick's area. There are 2,300 housing units. There is a 250-room hotel facility built in 2004. There are two lighted baseball fields and a bowling alley.

This is your chance to see what we will inherit. This is another chance to voice your ideas for redevelopment. This is your town.
