Yes, You Can Live & Work in a Tree!
Thursday, April 27
Morrell Meeting Room
One man's dream of life aloft inspired the building of a multi-story treehouse in western Maine. Meet the builders, one an award-winning author and photographer, the other a skilled woodcarver, carpenter, boat builder, artist, and renaissance man.
Using recycled and found materials, and an innovative sling system designed to assure the continued health of the tree, S. Peter Lewis and T.B.R. Walsh built lighty and creatively.
Join them for a multi-media virtual tour of the treehouse and a discussion of the technology involved. They will be available afterward to answer questions and autograph books (available this evening for purchase.)
This program is free and open to the public courtesy of Cornerstones of Science, Curtis Memorial Library's national science literacy initiative.
